Terms of Service
The terms that govern your SBG One subscription — written in plain language.
1. Overview
These Terms of Service govern your use of SBG One, a flat-rate website subscription service provided by South Beach Geek ("we", "us"). By starting a project or subscribing, you agree to these terms.
2. Subscription & Billing
SBG One is a month-to-month subscription billed at a flat monthly rate. Your subscription remains active until you cancel. There are no setup fees, and you may cancel at any time. Cancellation stops future billing but does not refund the current paid period.
3. Website Build & Delivery
Upon starting your project, our team will build your initial website, typically delivered within 48–72 hours of receiving your completed intake information and assets. Delivery timelines depend on receiving complete, accurate content from you in a timely manner.
4. Updates & Fair Use
Your subscription includes unlimited updates to your existing website, subject to our Fair Use Policy. Requests that constitute new projects — such as adding e-commerce functionality, a members-only area, or a full redesign into a different site type — may be scoped and quoted separately. We will always provide a clear quote before any additional work begins.
5. Client Responsibilities
You are responsible for providing accurate business information, timely content and assets, and confirming you hold the rights to all materials you supply. You are also responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for any activity under your account.
6. Intellectual Property
Upon payment of your subscription, you own the content and assets you provided for your website. South Beach Geek retains ownership of underlying templates, frameworks, and proprietary tools used to build and host your site. Your subscription includes hosting and ongoing maintenance; your website's content files are available to you upon request if you discontinue service.
7. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your client portal or by contacting us. Upon cancellation, your website will be taken offline at the end of your current billing period unless you arrange to migrate it to another provider.
8. Limitation of Liability
South Beach Geek provides its services on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of revenue, profits, or data, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid in the preceding three (3) months.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to active subscribers. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
